Fragments of where I come from
and what continues to shape my way of seeing.

ORIGINS

I was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. Surrounded by mountains, temples, craftsmen, ritual and sound.

These early surroundings became the first language i understood - texture, atmosphere and silence

FAMILY & CRAFT

My family has long been connected to traditional craftsmanship, handmade objects, and the world of singing bowls passed through generations.

My grandfather was among the first in our family to introduce singing bowls beyond Nepal, carrying both sound and craftsmanship into different parts of the world. Over time, this practice became part of our everyday life — through workshops, stores, travel and conversations shared across generations.

Some of my relatives continue this path today, from Nepal to the United States and Thailand, each carrying different parts of the tradition in their own way.

Growing up around metalwork, ritual objects, textures and sound shaped the way I observe atmosphere and detail today. These experiences quietly continue to influence my visual language — patience, rhythm, stillness and human connection.

Sound entered my life long before I understood it as music.
It existed in workshops, rituals, metal, footsteps, and conversations carried through everyday life.

Growing up around singing bowls and handmade objects taught me to listen differently — not only to sound, but to silence, rhythm, and atmosphere.

Over time, these memories became connected to the way I create images today.
Through photography and film, I continue exploring emotion, presence, and the spaces between memory and silence.

BEYOND BORDERS

Travel became not only a way of seeing new places, but a way of understanding connection, memory, and presence beyond geography.
